On May 16th, 2010 to be exact. He was such a good sport to have a very low key day and no friends this year for a party. It was a Sunday, so for his birthday, we went to church! Later that day, he helped decorate his own cake including piping orange frosting and filling in the basket ball, putting on his own candles and then directing us on what to do next. The boys were already in bed, so he got a birthday song from just mom and dad. He was thrilled to eat cake and ice cream, and enjoy his presents (even though it was just the three of us). What an easy, fun boy! He is such a great kid and a special part of our family.
Happy Birthday Pete! I can't believe he is 6. I still think of him as 4. What a nice birthday, especially that he got lots of one on one with mom and dad. Love the cake too!
