Wade has been on the hunt for the Kentucky Lady Slipper, a rare Orchid found mainly in the Southeastern US. He took Pete to Big South Fork this week to spot one that a friend told him about and was rewarded with these beautiful shots. They also did some hiking around the park, found an arch called Natural Bridge (which Wade informs me is NOT a bridge, but indeed an arch), and found an awesome cave to explore. Pete told me all about the trip when they arrived home and it seems his favorite part was eating lunch at McD's and dinner at BK's. No surprise there- this kid loves to hike AND loves to eat.
